The Assignment

What the project needed

GMAC commissioned a large portrait library designed to make the GMAT brand feel ambitious, energetic and human. The campaign called for both conventional portraits and more conceptual images built around movement and floating or levitating subjects, with enough variation to support multiple advertising formats and audiences.

Approach

How the work was built

The production used controlled studio lighting and repeatable camera positions so action, wardrobe and expression could change without losing campaign consistency. Movement-heavy frames were photographed with post-production in mind, while straightforward portraits were kept crisp and adaptable for layouts, brochures and digital use. The final body of work was designed to move easily between clean campaign graphics and larger out-of-home applications.

Deliverables

A useful library, not just a single hero frame.

  • Advertising portrait library
  • Conceptual movement and levitation-style imagery
  • Campaign-ready studio portraits
  • Retouched master files
  • Print, digital and out-of-home applications
  • Adaptable compositions with room for typography and graphic design
