Maid to Photograph was created for Nu-Mode Magazine with model Ellen and fashion styling by Renesta Olds. The editorial brings together lace, wool outerwear, pleated fabrics, pearls and fur-textured pieces in a clean studio series designed to highlight both the clothing and the model’s presence.

The photographs move between full-length fashion portraits, seated compositions and tightly framed beauty details. Rather than relying on an elaborate location or set, the story uses a pale background, controlled shadows and carefully selected styling to create a quiet, polished atmosphere.

Texture against a minimal background

The wardrobe is built around visual contrast.

Dark lace is layered over lighter garments. A translucent white overskirt changes the shape of a fitted black silhouette. Deep navy trousers are paired with a loose white, gray and blue coat. Pearls introduce a reflective detail against the softness of wool, while the dark fur-textured vest creates weight and volume around the upper body.
