Louis Brown & Tusks: A Fashion Styling Collaboration image by Ken Jones Photography

Louis Brown & Tusks is a New York City fashion collaboration between designer and stylist Louis Brown and photographer Ken Jones. The project was created to showcase Louis Brown’s styling, product design, and visual direction through a small editorial production involving models, hair and makeup, studio photography, lighting, and page design.

A Creative Collaboration with Designer and Stylist Louis Brown

The project began as a visual presentation for Louis Brown’s creative work. Rather than simply photographing individual accessories, the production was built around styling, wardrobe, models, beauty direction, product presentation, and finished page layouts.

Louis handled the styling and planning, bringing together the clothing, accessories, and design elements that shaped the visual direction. Ken Jones translated the concept into finished imagery through lighting, model direction, studio production, photography, and post-production.

Fashion Styling, Product Design, and Editorial Presentation

The finished series combines studio fashion portraits, close accessory images, beauty details, handbags, jewelry, wardrobe styling, and graphic layouts. Several images were designed into finished pages by Louis Brown, showing how the photographs could live as part of a broader editorial or portfolio presentation.

Fashion Photography as a Team Process

This collaboration reflects how strong fashion imagery is built through the interaction of designer, stylist, model, hair and makeup team, photographer, lighting, retouching, and layout design. The result is a polished fashion story centered on styling, design, and creative partnership.
