The Assignment

What the project needed

The DesignPond engaged Ken Jones Photography for a broad visual program spanning several CFTC offices. The assignment combined very large group photographs with executive portraits, Chairman and Commissioner photography and more natural working images intended for organizational communications.

Approach

How the work was built

The challenge was consistency across locations with very different spaces, schedules and group sizes. The production used a repeatable lighting and composition strategy for formal portraits while leaving room for a more observational approach during workplace scenes. Planning and timing were especially important for the large groups and senior leadership sessions.
