Beauty by Bora is a beauty portrait session featuring model Bora Kang, who had recently arrived from Korea to build her modeling portfolio in New York. Originally planned as a simple headshot shoot, the session naturally evolved into a full beauty editorial once hair and makeup artist T. Cooper joined the collaboration.

The shoot focused on clean beauty imagery that highlights the model’s natural features and expressive presence. Hair and makeup styling added subtle drama while maintaining an elegant and polished look suitable for modeling portfolios and beauty campaigns.

The lighting setup was intentionally simple, using one large light source combined with reflectors and black panels to shape the highlights and shadows across the face. This controlled lighting approach created depth and contrast while maintaining soft skin tones and a refined beauty aesthetic.
